Quinta Camacho is a quarter of early 20th-century brick houses in Chapinero, with front gardens, pitched English-style roofs and tree-lined sidewalks.12 Many have become offices, restaurants and cafés while keeping their character.2 Zona G, the G for Gourmet, is its restaurant neighbor.3
Together they form Bogotá's densest specialty cluster, most of it on or near Calle 70A. The range runs from Libertario's and Casa Café Cultor's roasters to Amor Perfecto's shop at Carrera 4 #66-46, which has a coffee lab on site.4
Local tip: Walk Calle 70A from Libertario at Carrera 5 to Casa Café Cultor at Carrera 9; on a cold afternoon, take a table by the gas fireplaces in Cultor's back garden.

Use the TransMilenio stations on Avenida Caracas near Calles 67 and 72, then walk east toward Carrera 7; SITP buses also run on Calle 72, Calle 67, the Séptima and Caracas.1 Two statues make useful landmarks: Marconi at Carrera 12 and Calle 70, and Giordano Bruno at Calle 69A and Carrera 9.1
The Teatro Fanny Mickey and the Academia Charlot are both in the neighborhood.12 On its northern edge, the Porciúncula church at Carrera 11 #72-82, a late neo-Gothic building, was founded in 1919.5
The Calle 70A roasters
Libertario Coffee Roasters, at Calle 70A #5-37, gets all its coffee from Zipacón in Cundinamarca, where it runs the farm La Palma y El Tucán.4 In 2016 its baristas pulled two espressos, a medium-light Libre and a medium Paz, and served varieties such as Gesha and SL28.6
Four blocks west, Casa Café Cultor (Calle 70A #9-44) is the largest of Café Cultor's shops, with a back garden warmed by gas fireplaces and a lime-green roaster in view.7 The company began as an exporter, and its first café was a converted shipping container on Calle 69 in Zona G.7
Distrito Chocolate, with Wi-Fi and outdoor tables, is a few doors from Cultor at #9-86, and Bourbon Coffee Roasters is further west on Calle 70A. In 2016 Bourbon roasted on site and specialized in the Bourbon variety, down to a rare pink Bourbon.6
