Terrace season in Dubai is the winter, which runs from roughly the last week of October to the middle of April and brings most of the year's little rain.1 Mean daily highs drop from 31.0 °C in November to 24.0 °C in January and climb back to 34.0 °C by April.1 What's On marked the start of the 2026 season with a list of beach cafés in late September, and by late October declared the alfresco season open.23
Jumeirah has the most cafés with outdoor seating, ahead of Downtown and Business Bay, with Dubai Marina, JBR and JLT and Umm Suqeim level behind them. The tables range from Boxpark's strip on Al Wasl Road and villa gardens off Jumeira Street to lake-level terraces in JLT.
Local tip: From May to September, take an outdoor table only before 08:00: Single Fin Cafe, Golositalia and Levante all open at 07:00.
