Aviadores del Chaco and the office towers
By 2016, Avenida Aviadores del Chaco was being marketed as Asunción's new corporate and financial center, with office towers such as Skypark, whose second frontage opens onto Juan XXIII.3 Paseo La Galería, at Santa Teresa and Aviadores del Chaco, opened on 5 May 2016 with more than 140 shops, ahead of its two office towers.4
Urbano, one street over at Papa Juan XXIII 1713, opens 08:00–21:00 on weekdays and 09:00–21:00 at weekends, with brunch, vegan dishes and its own baked goods. Alta Loma is on Aviadores del Chaco itself; in 2021 it was one of the cafés selling Café Guarania, a Paraguayan coffee brand.5

Helados Doña Angela began as a dairy business. A 2013 profile said it had moved into ice cream about 15 years earlier, starting with soft-serve machines, and by then made 46 flavors and about 700 kg of ice cream a day, with a shop on Julio Correa among its branches.7 The Julio Correa shop is open daily 09:00–23:00 and has Wi-Fi and outdoor tables.
La Galette Mburucuya opens 07:30–21:00 Monday to Saturday. El Molinillo has a branch on Avenida Doctor Felipe Molas López, the avenue that forms Mburucuyá's southwestern edge.1
Cooltural and late nights near Molas López
Cooltural, at Profesor Manuel Riquelme 1907, a block from Avenida Molas López, opened in 2016 as a café-bar with a library and a book swap, and a calendar of stand-up, film nights, open mics, flamenco and jazz.8 It serves lunch 11:30–15:00 on weekdays and reopens 17:00–23:45; on Saturday it opens only in the evening, 17:00–02:00, and the room is smoke-free.
