Đà Lạt nights are cold. The mean daily low drops to 11.7°C in January and averages no more than 16.4°C even in June.1 Evenings center on the chợ đêm (night market) on Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, which starts around 17:30 and is busiest from 19:00 to 22:00.2
Most of Đà Lạt's late cafés close at 22:00, in step with the market's busy hours. Two run later: Coffee One Day at 05 Trần Quốc Toản, open 06:00–00:00, and Hoa Sữa, a soy-milk and sweets shop near the market that opens only in the evening, 17:00–23:00.
Local tip: Eat at the night market first, then walk to Coffee One Day on Trần Quốc Toản, which stays open until midnight, the latest closing time among these cafés.
Where these cafés are: Valley of Love & the north (5), Chợ Đà Lạt & Hòa Bình (4), Hùng Vương & Trại Mát (3), Trần Phú & Crazy House (2), Phan Đình Phùng & Bùi Thị Xuân (1), Xuân Hương Lake & the station (1).

The drink of a Đà Lạt night is sữa đậu nành nóng (hot soy milk), sold at the market in a cup with bánh tiêu (a hollow fried sesame bun) or bánh bò, a spongy rice cake.2 A cup cost 10,000–15,000₫ as of 2026.3 Hoa Sữa's 17:00 opening follows the market rather than café hours.
Around the market, Len's Cafe at 07 Nguyễn Chí Thanh opens 10:00–22:00 and An Cafe 07:00–22:00. Nguyễn Chí Thanh is one of the central streets the city reopened as a weekend pedestrian zone in April 2024, with Trương Công Định, Tăng Bạt Hổ and Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, from 19:00 to 22:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.4
Đà Lạt joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network for music on 31 October 2023, World Cities Day.5 A 2026 report describes acoustic sets in small hillside cafés, wooden houses in the pines, homestays and farmstays as a familiar evening choice for visitors, helped by the cool air and slow pace.6
Mây Lang Thang built its name on outdoor stages with a live professional band, drew visitors especially at weekends and later took its shows to Ho Chi Minh City.7 Đà Lạt's mini liveshows typically started at 17:00 or 18:00 and ran 90 to 120 minutes, SGGP reported in 2022.8 Mây lang thang acoustic, in the Trại Mát direction east of the center, is open 07:00–22:00.
