Working from a Tbilisi café is easy if you pick the right one, because each café sets its own terms. Some are built for it. Red Man Cafe in Vera, with reliable Wi-Fi and large windows onto the street, is Wander-Lush's top pick for a laptop day, and Corner House Coffee on Aghmashenebeli Avenue offers meeting rooms as well as plenty of power sockets.1

Old Tbilisi & Sololaki and Rustaveli & Mtatsminda have the most cafés with Wi-Fi, followed by Vake and Marjanishvili & Chugureti. Sockets are rarer, and most of the cafés known to have them are in Chugureti: Pro Barista on Giorgi Chubinashvili Street, Coffee Lair on Giorgi Chitaia Street, Mycha on Kote Marjanishvili Street and Slow on Aghmashenebeli Avenue.

Local tip: For a long session, choose a café with designated laptop tables, such as OKRO on Iakob Nikoladze Street or Pulp on Simon Janashia Street, over a small bar like Daily Grind.1

Where these cafés are: Rustaveli & Mtatsminda (25), Old Tbilisi & Sololaki (24), Vake (17), Marjanishvili & Chugureti (16), Saburtalo (13), Vera (7), Avlabari (3), Didube (1).

Where laptops are welcome

In Vera, OKRO Coffee Roastery sets aside laptop tables, Pulp has a designated laptop area, and Hurma on Melikishvili Avenue marks a laptop zone beside the counter.1 In the old town, Brewio on a lane off Hovhannes Tumanyan Street has Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a smoke-free room, open 09:00–19:00. At Stamba Bakery, inside the Stamba hotel, there are designated laptop areas.1

CO:CO Coffee Collective, which opened on Gudiashvili Square in April 2026, has a side room with potted plants that is quieter for laptops or books.2 In Sololaki, Eari BookCafe on Geronti Kikodze Street has single tables and one large communal table under a wall of books.1

Where they are not

Lui on Chavchavadze Avenue has a designated laptop area, though a reader reported in 2023 that its tables were marked laptop-free.1 Prospero's Books on Rustaveli Avenue welcomes laptops but cuts the Wi-Fi after three hours.1

Small bars make long sessions awkward. Daily Grind near Freedom Square seats its guests at high tables and stools, plus one sofa, and Cafe Leila on Shavteli Street is laptop-friendly but busy with passing visitors.1

Co-working and long days

Fabrika, the converted sewing factory on Egnate Ninoshvili Street, has its own co-working floor, Fabrika Co-Work, above a courtyard of cafés.3 TBC Bank's cafeteria on Kote Marjanishvili Street, mostly used by bank staff, has quiet corners and gives 15 percent off to TBC Concept customers.1

For a full day, look at hours as well as Wi-Fi. Campus on Merab Kostava Street in Saburtalo serves until 22:00 on weekdays, Break Time on Kazbegi Avenue until midnight, and the two Dro cafés, on Pekini Avenue and Mikheil Tsinamdzghvrishvili Street, from 08:00 to 22:00. Caffeine by Workin on Pekini Avenue pairs Wi-Fi with air conditioning, daily 09:00–21:00.

Paying for a working day

Corner House Coffee takes cash or a local bank transfer only, with no card payments.1 In coffee shops a tip is optional, and rounding up the bill is enough.4

A cappuccino at a laptop-friendly café cost ₾9–12 in mid-2026: ₾9 at Corner House and GRIND, ₾11 at Hurma and ₾12 at OKRO.1
