From 2020 to 2024, 92.1% of the country's imported coffee by volume and 94.2% by value came in through Busan Port, according to the Bank of Korea's Busan office.1 Its 2025 report also found that processing and importing firms cluster in the capital region, and it proposed a coffee industry cluster in the logistics zone behind the port.2
