The MRT's North–South Line ends in this part of the city: Haji Nawi, Cipete Raya and Fatmawati stations come before the Lebak Bulus terminus, and Cipete Raya's elevated platforms stand over Jalan RS Fatmawati.12 Cilandak district has five subdistricts, among them Cipete Selatan, Gandaria Selatan and Lebak Bulus, and about 229,000 residents; the Krukut River runs along its eastern edge.3

Toko Kopi Tuku, credited with starting the palm-sugar kopi susu trend, sold its first cups in Cipete in June 2015, and in 2025 the MRT station on Jalan RS Fatmawati was renamed Cipete Raya TUKU.42

Local tip: Get off at Cipete Raya TUKU station and walk to Tuku on Jalan Cipete Raya No. 7; a Kopi Susu Tetangga costs Rp25,000 as of 2026, against Rp18,000 in 2017.

Coffee chains in Cipete & Cilandak

Toko Kopi Tuku and Kopi Susu Tetangga

Tuku opened on 1 June 2015 as a small shop for the people living around it; its owner, Andanu Prasetyo, tested recipes on his neighbors, hence Kopi Susu Tetangga, "the neighbor's milk coffee".4 President Joko Widodo stopped by on a weekend in July 2017, when the drink cost Rp18,000 and used arabica such as Aceh Gayo and Garut, topped with brown sugar.5

Sales rose sharply after the visit, and by August 2022 Tuku had 12 branches.4 From 24 April 2026 a Kopi Susu Tetangga cost Rp25,000.6 The station naming rights were inaugurated on 28 January 2025.2 Tuku's shop on Jalan Cipete Raya is at No. 7.

Cipete Raya and Fatmawati

Crematology's Cipete outlet roasts in-house and adds guest beans from international roasters; in 2022 it opened 08:00–23:00, with coffee from Rp35,000.7 Jakarta Coffee House, which began as a micro coffee shop and roastery and now teaches coffee courses, has its flagship in Cipete.7 Anomali Coffee is at Jalan Cipete Raya No. 91a.

Along Jalan Cipete Raya, Kedai Kopi Tenong is at No. 8a, Stuja Coffee at Nos. 18–19, MR. Coffee at No. 64 and Dua Coffee at No. 66. On Jalan RS Fatmawati, Magia Coffee stands beside the lift of Haji Nawi MRT station, Tokonoma is at No. 22A, Kopi Jiro at No. 41 and Kloop Coffee at No. 100.

Cilandak: Citos, Terogong and the side streets

Cilandak Town Square, known as Citos, is the district's mall.3 Amadeus, Bermuda and Social Affair are inside, the latter two on the ground floor. On Jalan Terogong Raya, Eighteen Coffee is at No. 6b and Jalanin Kedai Kopi and kirihousecoffee_ at No. 12.

Jalan Cilandak Tengah Raya has commonroom.id at No. 5, Smoking Barrels Atelier at No. 8 and Three Folks at No. 14. Arbrew Coffee and Roastery is on Jalan Lebak Bulus I.

Fatmawati station, elevated over Jalan R.A. Kartini, takes its name from the RSUP Fatmawati hospital; Indomaret has held its naming rights since April 2022.8

Rain on the Krukut side

The Krukut also floods Cipete. In the storm of 27 August 2016, a house in South Cipete took about 60 cm of water and one in North Cipete almost 80 cm.9 Jakarta's rains are heaviest from December to March.10 Toodz House on Jalan Cipete Raya has Wi-Fi, outdoor tables and takeaway, and Rumangsa on Jalan Intan Ujung has wheelchair access and toilets.
