Śródmieście Południowe is the grid south of Aleje Jerozolimskie, from Emilii Plater east to Plac Trzech Krzyży and Aleje Ujazdowskie. Its hub is Plac Zbawiciela, a roundabout laid out about 1768 where Marszałkowska, Mokotowska and Nowowiejska streets and Aleja Wyzwolenia meet.1

Wilcza, Hoża, Poznańska and Mokotowska hold the densest run of cafés in central Warsaw, from roasters' own bars to matcha counters and places that stay open past midnight. No other part of the center has as many specialty bars.

Local tip: For a late coffee, Wilcza is the street: Bishops Brew serves until 22:00 every day and Południk 2.0 until 01:00 from Thursday to Saturday.
