Les Corts takes in three barris, Les Corts, La Maternitat i Sant Ramon and Pedralbes, and grew out of the old municipality of Les Corts de Sarrià.1 FC Barcelona's Camp Nou is here, the Camp Vell neighborhood is named for the club's earlier ground, and the Zona Universitària fills one sector of Pedralbes.1

Several of its better cafés keep weekday hours and close by mid-afternoon. The district also has a stronger specialty line than its residential look suggests, because one of the city's bigger roasters has a long-standing bar here and other cafés pour its beans.

Local tip: Check the calendar for your weekend coffee: Behaus Café & Bistró and Cups & Coffee both stay shut on Saturdays and Sundays, while Hidden Cafe Barcelona opens at 09:00 both days.45

Trays and producer cards on Carrer de Constança

Hidden Cafe Barcelona stands at the corner of Constança and Déu i Mata, near Les Corts station on line L3.2 Time Out's 2019 review describes each coffee arriving on a wooden tray with water and a card explaining who grew it, in a room of wooden tables and mosaic floor tiles that had become a pilgrimage stop for cyclists.2 It opens from 08:00 on weekdays and 09:00 at weekends.

The company behind it has grown well past that corner. Mateo González and Carlos Moral met at a specialty coffee workshop in 2015, and by August 2026 they were roasting 3,000 to 4,000 kilos a week at a workshop in La Verneda, with 250 g bags at €12 to €30.3

Weekday specialty near the office blocks

Behaus Café & Bistró on Carrer de l'Equador serves Hidden's beans with bagels, pressed sandwiches and daily bowls, and shuts at 16:00 on weekdays and all weekend.4 Cups & Coffee on Carrer de Sabino Arana calls itself a specialty café for the neighborhood, with food made by hand, and starts earlier, at 07:30 from Monday to Friday.5

Kruda, at Carrer de Berlín 103 near the Sants boundary, opens at 07:45 on weekdays and has outdoor seats and Wi-Fi. Weekend hours are shorter, 09:00–15:00, but it does open, unlike the two above.

Gluten-free plates on Carrer de Galileu

Montse Prieto, a chef and nutrition coach who specializes in food allergies, runs BoPerTu Cafè at Carrer de Galileu 282.6 The kitchen pairs specialty coffee with home-style dishes and pastry, all made without gluten or lactose, from seasonal and local produce where it can.6 Lunch is the point here: doors close at 16:00 from Tuesday to Saturday, and the café does not open on Sundays or Mondays.6

Old pastry houses on the Diagonal and Manuel Girona

Sacha is named for its founder, Alejandro Barreneche, whom friends called by the Russian form of his name.7 He opened in San Sebastián in 1927, inspired by French pastry, and the family brought the business to Barcelona in the 1940s, starting where Aribau meets the Diagonal.7 Its Les Corts shop is at Avinguda Diagonal 615, and the family still bakes every day.7

La Forneria goes back further. Caterina Pujol Bonet opened a bread oven in the Raval in 1911 with help from baker uncles in Poble-sec; she lost the business at the start of the Civil War, and her daughter Rosa and granddaughter Neus carried it on.8 Its loaves are still long-fermented sourdough.8 The branch on the Passeig de Manuel Girona opens at 08:00 from Monday to Saturday.
