Wi-Fi in a Seville café is usually something you ask for: “¿Hay wifi?” at the counter is enough.1 Seating is the harder part. Many of the newer specialty bars are small with little room to sit, and some do not allow laptops at all.2

Cafés with Wi-Fi are spread fairly evenly across the city. Nervión, the Alameda de Hércules and Santa Cruz share the lead, and Santa Cruz has the highest share for its size, about one café in six. Triana, Los Remedios, El Arenal and Centro each add one.

Local tip: Ask for the Wi-Fi when you order, and go in the daytime: La Sra Pop on Calle Amor de Dios is quiet until its evening program of music and theater starts.

Where these cafés are: Nervión (3), Alameda de Hércules (3), Santa Cruz (3), Centro (2), Triana (1), El Arenal (1), Los Remedios (1).

The Alameda de Hércules and Calle Amor de Dios

El Viajero Sedentario, at Alameda de Hércules 77, has free Wi-Fi, books to browse, a small room inside and seats outdoors, and it hosts concerts, book signings and other cultural events.1 It takes cards, is smoke-free and has step-free access. Live music and short-film nights are a regular part of the program.4

La Sra Pop, listed by Devour Tours as Señora Pop, is at Calle Amor de Dios 55 and serves coffee and cakes. It is quiet and comfortable for working during the day, then fills in the evening with live music, football matches and local theater.1 Otto Café on the Plaza de Montesión bakes its own cakes, serves brunch and has step-free access; it opens 08:00–21:00 and closes on Thursdays.

Nervión: brunch at Puerta de Carmona and later hours

ALFONSITO Brunch Cafe sits at Puerta de Carmona, on the eastern edge of the old town, and opens 08:00–20:30 every day, with toilets and step-free access. The business behind it sells freshly roasted specialty coffee and brewing equipment and runs SCA-certified barista courses.3

For a longer session, Cafetería Doñana on Avenida de la Ciudad Jardín serves brunch and coffee 08:00–00:00 daily. Cafestore is on Avenida de Kansas City, with seating indoors and card payment.

Santa Cruz, El Arenal and across the river

Behind the cathedral, Filo is on Calle Hernando Colón, Jester on Calle Puerta la Carne and La Revolea on Calle San Fernando, all with Wi-Fi. In El Arenal, Heladeria La Fiorentina on Calle Zaragoza is an ice-cream parlor that also offers it.

Across the river, Casablanca dreams on Calle San Jacinto in Triana is open 08:00–22:00 every day, one of the later closers among the Wi-Fi cafés. In Centro, Almazen Café on Calle San Esteban adds a second shift from 18:30 to 01:00, Tuesday to Sunday, and Café del Valle covers Los Remedios.

When to work and when to move on

Timing matters more than bandwidth. Many Sevillanos take a proper breakfast with coffee between about 10:00 and 11:00, so tables fill then.5 Devour Tours advises working in the quieter daytime hours and leaving before the evening crowd at venues with entertainment, and points to the Alameda as a convenient base because several Wi-Fi cafés are close together.1

For work past 21:00, Cafetería Doñana in Nervión and Almazen Café in Centro are the two Wi-Fi cafés that stay open until midnight or later.
